Courtesy visit to National Drug Law Enforcement Agency

The Executive Secretary of The Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF ) leverages on the policy of Stakeholders Engagement to attract collaboration.

In this regard, the Executive Secretary and his management paid courtesy call to the Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA ) Brig. Gen Mohammed Buba Marwa Rtd. National Drug Law on 6th August 2024 at NDLEA HQ Portharcout Crescent, Areaa II Garki.

The ES commended the Chairman in the effort of combating the drug scourge in the country, he sought for collaboration in the following areas:

i. Training and Capacity Building:

ii. Intelligence Sharing

iii. Community Engagement

iv Rehabilitation and Integration

The Chairman NDLEA congratulated Executive Secretary NPTF on a well deserved appointment and said currently 50 million Nigerians are indulged in substance abuse. He then recommended that drug test should be a requirement for Police recruitment.

The Chairman further said that NDLEA could collaborate with NPTF in the areas earlier stated by the ES and also in the following areas;

i. Provision of test kits

ii. Equipment and Logistics support
