As part of effort to ensure mutual understanding and harmonious working relationship with key actors in the NPTF project, the newly appointed Executive Secretary Nigeria police trust Abdullahi Bala sokoto has visited the chairman Board of trustee Sulaiman Abba.

Receiving the new ES, the chairman board of trustee Sulaiman Abba urged him to remain steadfast and Carry everyone along in the interest of NPTF.

He said even though NPTF is a small agency, Nigerians have high expectations from it considering it’s mandate, and charged the new ES to work diligently to achieve maximum success.

According to him, with the current spate of insecurity in the country, the police needs to be adequately equipped to be able to confront such challenges, hence the need for NPTF to be more impactful.

He congratulated the new ES on his appointment and promise him, the BOT support at all times.

“Carry all your staff along in any decision you may wish to take “the BOT chairman added.

Responding, the new Executive Secretary Nigeria police trust fund Abdullahi Bala sokoto, recalled the BOT chairman ‘s contribution to Nigeria police Force when he was the inspector General and appealed to him to bring such an experience to bear so that NPTF could achieve it’s assigned mandate.

“As a former police Boss I’m very much sure that you have so much to offer on how best the police could be assisted through NPTF” the ES said

He assured the BOT chairman of his readiness to carry everybody along so as to achieve the desired goals.

Alhaji Bala further assured the chairman of his readiness to operate an open door policy, and as well listen to useful advices aimed at moving NPTF Forward.

“During my meeting with the staff I charged them not to hesitate in bringing fantastic ideas that will assist us deliver on our mandate” ES said

He appealed for support and cooperation of members of the Board of trustee to ensure success.

The New ES was introduced to the BOT chairman by Director planning research and statistics Yahaya Muhammad Alhaji.
